Product Details

The 3500/15-04-00-01 is a single-slot power supply module engineered for the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System. This specific configuration integrates a legacy low-voltage direct current power supply option in the top slot, an empty lower slot for single-source operation, and CSA/NRTL/C hazardous location certifications. It converts external DC inputs into regulated internal operating voltages for the rack backplane and monitoring cards.

Slot Configuration and Power Delivery

The module occupies the upper half-height power supply slot on the left side of the 3500 system rack. With the bottom slot option designated as none, this unit operates as a single power supply installation. A single low-voltage DC module provides sufficient capacity to power a fully loaded machinery protection rack independently under standard operating conditions.

Input Voltage and Protection

The top slot configuration accepts a direct current input range of 20 VDC to 30 VDC. The unit features built-in out-of-range protection where under-voltage conditions cause no harm to internal circuitry. During an over-voltage surge, the fast-blow fuse on the associated Power Input Module (PIM) opens to isolate and protect the rack.
