Product Details

The 3500/15-02-00-01 is a single-slot power supply configuration designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System. This ordering option integrates a high-voltage AC power supply module in the top slot, no secondary supply in the bottom slot, and CSA/NRTL/C hazardous location agency approvals. It converts alternating current mains into regulated internal DC operating voltages to power the rack backplane and monitoring cards.

Slot Allocation and Power Capacity

The power supply module installs into the designated half-height slots on the left side of a 3500 rack. Because the bottom slot option is designated as none, this configuration operates as a single-source unit. A single high-voltage AC supply has sufficient capacity to independently power a fully loaded machinery protection rack.

Input Range and Over-Voltage Protection

The module accepts a nominal high-voltage alternating current input, backed by an integrated line noise filter. Under-voltage variations cause no damage to internal components, whereas severe line over-voltage conditions cause the fast-blow fuse on the associated Power Input Module (PIM) to open, isolating the rack from electrical surges.
