The 3170-MBS from ProSoft Technology is a single-slot Modbus Slave communications adapter designed for seamless integration of Modbus devices with Rockwell Automation PLCs. It enables data exchange between heterogeneous networks using a common memory database, providing reliable communication for SCADA and field device applications. The module supports configurable serial ports, high-level diagnostic monitoring, and floating-point data transfer compatible with multiple implementations.
