The IC200GBI001 Network Interface Module belongs to the GE Fanuc Versamax family of products. It is used as a controller for a set of I/O modules. A power supply can be directly installed on the network interface module to power it up. The host system of the module is a Versamax PLC or industrial computer which can control the bus. The number of modules that can be used is 8 per rack and up to 8 racks can be used. The IC200GBI001 Network Interface Module is compatible with a wide variety of modules including analog I/O modules, GE Series 90-70 PLCs, GMR systems, and RX3i PLCs. It provides serial bus addresses from 0 to 31.

The IC200GBI001 Network Interface Module has 1024 points of discrete I/O memory, 128 bytes of analog I/O memory, and a 153.6 Kbaud network data rate. It interfaces a Versamax I/O station to a Genius I/O bus. The firmware version of the module is version 3.20. This firmware version can be downloaded to any hardware revision. Its enhanced diagnostic mode can be enabled for use in safety-relevant applications. The power consumption rating of the IC200GBI001 Module is 5 Volts at 250 milliamps or 3.3 Volts at 10 milliamps. The network data rate of the module is 153.6 Kbaud for both the extended and standard baud rate. It uses 3 rotary dials to configure its address and set the communication baud rate. It can be installed on a 35 x 7.5 millimeters conductive DIN rail. The module may be installed horizontally or vertically on the DIN rail. Make sure to remove the power supply before removing the module.
