Description

The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB8EP is a 1794 FLEX Digital DC Output Module. It is an Electronic Fuse (EP) module which acts to disconnect the output if a fault occurs. The "fuse" can be reset by a pushbutton-operated by the input power or via software. The 1794-OB8EP is fitted inside the terminal bus, making a connection with the field devices and the I/O bus. Modules can be inserted or removed under power since the I/O module does not have any direct wiring. It in turn saves time and removes system restarting inefficiency.
